Experience the Outdoors: Fishing

Join the James River Basin Partnership (JRBP) for a morning of fishing at the Missouri Department of Conservation’s Bois D’Arc Conservation Education Fishing Pond.

Fishing equipment will be provided. Dress for the weather and bring sun protection. Porta potties are available on site.

Fishing permits are not needed for anyone 15 years of age and younger. Anyone 16 years of age and older will need a valid Missouri fishing license to fish. You do not need a license to help a child fish. Learn more and purchase a permit online here.

Experience the Outdoors events are JRBP-hosted under the umbrella of the 100 Hours Outdoors program, which encourages children and families to spend time outdoors during summer break.
